TRIGGER WARNINGS
As an author, I believe that trigger warnings are very important and therefore strive to do my best to provide clear and concise content warnings for all of my books. If you feel that I might have overlooked sensitive material, please don’t hesistate to reach out.
Your mental health matters.
THE FORBIDDEN GOALS SERIES
Instances of sexist, homophobic, and ableist language may be present throughout the books in this series. This language does not reflect the author’s beliefs or ideals, but are a realistic portrayal of lived experiences.
All books in the Forbidden Goals series are standalone and do not need to be read in any particular order.

THE BINDING TRILOGY
The Binding is a MMFM paranormal romance where the characters do not choose between their love interests (#whychoose). This series will contain dark themes and triggering content, including but not limited to: family and child death, discussions of grooming and sexual assault, forced guardianship and control, discussions about chronic mental and physical illness, forced loss of virginity and discussions of “purity”, dubious consent and non-consensual sex acts including sex with an unconscious person, primal play, breeding, blood play, violence, religious fanaticism and imagery, prejudice, mentions of mental health and the cause and effects of neurodivergence, pregnancy, childbirth, and discussions about abortion as a safe and natural choice, and of course strong language and graphic sex acts
This is a completed trilogy. Books 1 and 2 end on cliffhangers, with a a hard won HEA in the end.
REVELATIONS (paranormal standalone)
Revelations is a dark paranormal MMMFM (whychoose) romance about torturous demons and a succubus assassin. This book contains very dark themes and explicit sex, as well as strong trigger warnings, including but not limited to: violence, torture, abuse (including abandonment and forced childhood sterilization), captivity, forced proximity, degradation, bondage, blood/gore, assault, deprivation, mental manipulation, derogatory jokes about sexuality, murder, war, starvation, and religious imagery. The FMC is plus sized, which comes up in various ways, both derogatory and positively. The MC’s are rude and problematic in multiple ways, and are in no way meant to be an example of stable or healthy relationships.
If you do not like dark romance and violence, this is not the book for you.
THE PROGENY SERIES
Progeny is a MMFMMM romance- the heroine of the story finds an HEA with multiple love interests (#whychoose). Though this book could be considered medium burn as the characters get to know each other, the scenes are explicit!
There are some dark themes, including human experimentation and medical torture. There are soft trigger warnings for mentions of suicide, sexual assault, homophobia, drug use, grief/loss, pregnancy and loss, depression, and domestic violence. The majority of these occur off page, and this list may not cover everything that one might find triggering.
Book 2, Revelations, takes the spice to another level, incorporating a LOT of very explicit sex, including group scenes, bondage, hand necklaces, double penetration, kink, and rough sex, among other fun.
Spark is a novella length MM prequel novella. It is the story of how Micah and Lukas meet, fall in love, and eventually go their separate ways *before* the events of Progeny.
This is a sweet but also sad story, and includes some mild potentially triggering content such as homophobia, death of family members, and depression.
Ignite is a novella length MMF companion story for The Progeny Duet. It includes many of the same dark themes and trigger warnings, including but not limited to: violence, arson, depression, drug use, grief/loss, torture, murder, pregnancy and loss, and revenge.
This novella contains spoilers for the original story and should be read last
ALWAYS MAGNOLIA (contemporary standalone)
Always Magnolia is a MMFM romance where the characters do not choose between their love interests (#whychoose). This story will contain dark themes and triggering content, including but not limited to: death of a parent, child abuse and molestation, spousal abuse, sexual assault and rape, accidental/forced pregnancy, miscarriage and abortion, domestic violence, and depression.
None of the abuse takes place between the main characters/love interests and there is a hard won HEA.
BRUSH STROKES (contemporary standalone)
Brush Strokes is an MFM menage romance where the main female character does not choose between her love interests. This is not a dark story, in fact it’s rather fluffy compared to other Rebecca Rathe books. However, there is some content that may be upsetting to sensitive readers, including but not limited to: fatphobia (including some tragically internalized fatphobia), mentions of fat fetish, and bullying from family and outside sources (not within the relationship). While Brush Strokes may be sweet, you should be prepared for explicit sexual content and language.
