I’m Rebecca Rathe! I’m a neurotic, neurodivergent hot mess… but I’ve got this deliciously dirty mind to make up for it! I write plot forward books with grit, emotion, and a metric ton of spice.

WHAT DOES “SMUT WITH PURPOSE” MEAN EXACTLY?

It’s my intention to learn a little, educate a little, and give back a little with every book I write. Because I believe that every little bit counts.

In 2025, over $44,000 was donated to organizations like The Raleigh LGBT Center, The Trevor Project, The ACLU, The Transgender Law Center, The Ruth Ellis Center, The Human Rights Campaign and more. I’m so proud of what we accomplished and I can’t wait to see what else we’re capable of.

For 2026, $1 will be donated for every preorder on top of ongoing donations from dedicated projects and fundraisers throughout the year.
